When removal is necessary, an e-file may be used carefully to reduce bulk before completing the removal using the most appropriate technique for the natural nail.

For routine cuticle care and soak-off gel polish removal, we use manual techniques rather than an e-file.

Every tool has its place. Proper technique and knowing when to use each tool are what matter most.

Although we don't offer these services, many new guests arrive wearing them.

Removal is based on the product currently on the nails and the condition of the natural nail. Whenever possible, we preserve the integrity of the natural nail while preparing it for continued healthy growth.

Many guests visit HORTŪS after wearing acrylics, dip powder, hard gels, Gel-X, nail extensions, or gel manicures and would like to improve the condition of their natural nails.

Healthy nails grow gradually. Depending on the condition of the nail, improvement may take several appointments as healthy nail grows in. Consistent care and appropriate maintenance produce the best long-term

For guests looking for additional strength, our Signature Overlay and Gel Overlay use a vitamin-infused, soak-off builder gel to reinforce the natural nail while supporting healthy growth over time.

Technically, yes.

Our Signature Overlay uses a vitamin-infused, soak-off builder gel, commonly referred to as BIAB (Builder in a Bottle).

Our approach is different. Rather than using builder gel to create long nails or extensions, we use it to strengthen and support the natural nail. It's fully soak-off and designed for guests who would like additional strength while maintaining a natural appearance.
